Greenfield offers a variety of after-school clubs throughout the year. Below are recently announced programs that are open!
After School Clubs
Choir (3rd-8th grade)
The Lower and Middle School Choirs typically begin in October and run Mondays (for MS) and Wednesdays (for LS), from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in the auditorium. Choir is open to all Greenfield students in 3rd – 8th grades.
Both Lower and Middle School Choirs will perform at a Winter Concert (December date TBD) and a Spring Concert (May date TBD). Parents are welcome to attend these concerts and must follow School District of Philadelphia visitor policies and procedures.

Robotics (4th - 8th grade)
The Robotics Team is for 4th – 8th grade students and is led by Mr. Glasheen, 5th grade Social Studies and Science Teacher. Robotics is a branch of engineering and computer science that involves the conception, design, manufacture and operation of robots. Email Mr. Glasheen for more information. [gglasheen@philasd.org]
Student Voice (6th-8th grade)
Student Voice is an after school club for 6th-8th grade students who are interested in leadership, service, and community and is led by Mr. Neary, 8th grade English teacher. It’s an opportunity for you to share your voice, command your strengths, and explore your creativity by designing and leading your own community-building projects. Debate (7th & 8th grade)
The Debate Team is for 7th and 8th grade students and is led by Mr. Staab, 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher.
Students will learn important skills that will help them with gathering research, crafting & defending arguments, and understanding the implications of their arguments. Additionally, students will be exposed to a variety of current events and perhaps most importantly gain confidence in themselves and their speaking.
Interested 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend an informational meeting, which will be announced by Mr. Staab.
Drama (1st-5th grade)
Lower School students have the opportunity to perform in a musical that is typically performed in December. Audition information is always posted in the newsletter!

OPEXPark
Through our partnership with non-profit group OPEXPark, we are able to provide various afterschool clubs throughout the year including but not limited to the following. Each club has limited availability and sign ups are advertised in the newsletter prior to the club starting. Dates are subject to change:
- Page Turners Reading Club: 1st – 4th grade; Mondays (August thru December)
- Fashion Club: 5th – 8th grade; Mondays (January thru June)
- Drama Club as noted above
- Media Club: 6th – 8th grade; Mondays and Wednesdays (February thru May)
