What's the Role of a School Advisory Council (SAC)?
A School Advisory Council (SAC) is a peer-elected, collaborative team that works to improve student achievement, effective teaching in the classroom, and parent and community engagement in the educational process. Each school’s SAC is unique in its composition and the way it functions. Read more about the role of SAC here.

Help us spread the word to others who might want to get involved:
One of the ways that SAC is helping to strengthen the school community is by calling on/working with/holding up individuals in the community!
There are so many parents, guardians, and caregivers who have cool professions, unique interests, and fascinating backgrounds and experiences. We want to create an internal SAC document that we could use to connect parents, guardians, and caregivers in our community with teachers (and/or other staff members in the building) if there is an upcoming unit, project, etc. where their skills and expertise could enhance students’ learning and experience.
